Computers!!!

Hello! I have finally regained access to the internet. I have been having so many computer problems, first my large computer got infected with a virus that none of my three antivirus programs picked up so it totally destroyed the hard drive and internet chip thingy. Then I was using my backup laptop but the power cord had a short in it so it wouldn't charge. So in the end I had to check out a loaner computer from the tech center, which I had to sign away my soul to get. It is the slowest most annoying computer ever and I hate it with all my heart, but I guess it will have to do until my other one gets fixed. I don't have any completed pictures right now, but I am currently working on something which should be completed soon.

technology hates me!

Sorry I have not updated, I have been snowed in back in Pierre and my laptop decided it did not want to live anymore. Im on my second laptop now but I dont have much time left since it decided to follow the example of the first one so this is probably going to be my only post for awhile. Wish I had some art to put on but not enough time to load everything. The worst part is I might have to check out a computer from the tech center....bleh.

Time for something a little different.

I have never been really good with doing full-scene pictures, I usually do only one character with little to no background. I am also not very good with complex things to draw, so I decided to do something a little out of my comfort zone. I decided I was going to pick a scene from the "Megadoomer" episode of Invader Zim and draw it. I also decided to take pictures of my progress.

I still have a lot left to do but I just wanted to get these up so I wouldn't have to put all of them up at once. I will post some more when I get more of it done.

I hate real life!

I have finally come to the conclusion that I am not good at realism.....I can only draw cartoons and stuff. Even though I'm not good at realism I have gotten better in the last few years and I shall prove it.

I drew this three years ago and I plan to make a better version of it soon.

Other than those I really don't have Anything good enough to post. I have been distracted with a project for my sociology class, but hopefully I can get some more drawings done. That's all for now....I'm going to go bug Jennie!

Insomnia

Two posts in one day....is this girl crazy? Yes, yes she is. I decided that I was going to tell you about my little insomnia problem I have been experiencing over the last couple of nights. For the past two nights I have not been able to sleep...so it's good my roommate has been gone otherwise she would kill me. So on these sleepless nights what do I do....I draw.

This is a picture I drew of Nny (aka Johnny C.) from Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. I know it's not that good but give me a break I drew this at 4 am.

Here is an uncolored mudkip I drew for my cousin Faith. It is gray because it didn't look right when it was plain and I left my Colored pencils at home.

An Introduction

In case you didn't read the description my name is Breanne and I am a Student at Northern State University in Aberdeen South Dakota. I am studying to become a high school English teacher. If I were to describe myself in one word it would be geek. I am a big geek. I love comic books, anime, Sci-fi shows, watching cartoons, and most of all drawing. Which brings me to this blog about my procrastination habits; I have a big problem with procrastinating. I put off doing everything and I mean everything, even stupid little things like picking something up after I drop it. I even put off eating to work on this. The thing is when I procrastinate I use drawing as an excuse like " Jennie looked sad today, I guess I could wait to write that essay and draw Jennie a picture instead!" It sounds ridiculous, but it happens alot. Here are some examples:

These are pictures I drew of Gir from Invader Zim (I love Invader Zim) instead of doing English homework.

I just realized that there are more Gir drawings that I did instead of English, but I don't think I will post them all right now.
